Kala Sangam
Since April 2010, VSAI has been running “Kala Sangam” a programme where dance and music classes are offered for the less privileged children in the age group of 10-18 years. The classes are held every week on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. The activities offered are :-
- Indian classical dance
- Western dance
- Theatre
- Instrumental music
- Vocal music
Every child can opt for any two of the activities offered. The purpose is to nurture hidden talent and potential in the children and provide them a platform to showcase their talents.
The students of Kala Sangam have performed at various events.

Clean India Event
Hosted by Sangeet Natak Akademi
The Sangeet Natak Akademi organized an event at Ravindra Bhavan in New Delhi. A team of 10 children from VSAI enacted a small skit “Swatch Tann Swatch Mun” (Clean Body Clean Mind). Their performance was widely appreciated
January 2017
At an event hosted by Muskaan, New Delhi
The group presented a musical ballet tittled “Mein Kuch Banoongi” (“I will become someone of standing”).The ballet was about a girl who aspires to be a choreographer and her struggle.
February 2016
Vasant Public School, Vasant Kunj
The students performed a ballet on Swacch Bhaarat for the children of Vasant Public School. The message they wanted to convey, was that all of us are responsible for a cleaner earth.

The Rotary Club of Delhi
The Rotary Club of Delhi South Central organized a cultural programme on the occasion of World Disability Day. The children performed a skit that included western dance and singing.
